Humanity...

can be dim witted. Singapore was a ghost town last night not because of any government lockdown but because some kiasu people went to supermarket to buy weeks of toilet rolls. My favorite Ah Beng, Chan Chun Seng, said Singaporeans lak-sei (embarassing). I pity this minister who had to go live to report the months of supplies that the government had stockpiled because of the recent Malaysia lockdown. So when everyone is scrambling, it's a great opportunity to go anywhere but supermarkets which will be packed.

Last October there was a strain making it rounds. When I had it, I thought that many of the older folks or people who are vulnerable would be able to survive this flu. When WHO finally detected and declared existence of Corona Virus or rebranded as Covid19, I thought it was rather silly that people started reacting to it when this bugger has been around for some time. It's easier to blame bat shit than to really understand the origin of this disease. I've been to Wuhan. The market has literally been around for decades. Chinese people do eat some scary shit and they have been doing it for thousands of years. Logic would dictate it's quite unlikely that the market is the source of the virus. SARS, COVID, crazy weather, firestorm...correlated? Some bright scientist should look into that. Diseases that are locked in ice, forest or deep in the earth are being released by humans. With economics, monies and livelihood clouding the lense of judgement, it's easire to point to batman shitting on our health rather than seeing the big picture. Andrew Yang by Gage Skidmore.jpg Last year I stumbled upon this crazy Asian guy called Andrew Yang. He was running for the US Presidency. I knew he had no chance because of his skin color. As I read his stuff, this guy turned out to be a genius. He said that Trump won because he identified all the ails of America but he blamed it on trade and immigrants, hence the trade war and the wall. Andrew Yang said that most times people use scapegoat because it's easier than facing reality. If he comes to Singapore, he better sign my copy of his book. I am just going to live my life. Eat no meat as I am a vegetarian, take public transport and donate to charities when I have spare monies. Oh I love pool. Just picked it up recently eventhough I super suck at it.

SGGURLS' mid-year Chalet Party

SGGURLS' mid-year Chalet Party
4th of July, Singapore.
The chalet was crammed and the place crowded but it didn't stop the 20 plus people from having lots of fun and good food. In case you're wondering why all the pics were indoor, our camera women (Fifi + Kayla) didn't take any photos outdoor because of poor ligthing. Of course our main photographer, Kayla, Elisa and Bobby were busy manning the BBQ pit.
We had a preview of the Calendar mockups done by our resident designer Trish Leong (who incidently designed the SGGURL's logo) and Bobby who did the physical mock-up. The ideas were fantastic. There were some creative tension which are always wonderful when talents collide. Kayla ran through the processed pics. Its too bad that we have to shortlist them as they look simply divine. Bobby suggested choosing some of the pics from our outing as they had lots of candid moments. In most of our SGGRUL's outings, the gurls tried create a journal to describe the things that we do. We have been successful in reaching out to many closet gurls that it is perfectly okay to come out and hang with us.
Xiang Ning, Edwina, Ada, Des, Deanna and Nic had an interesting discussion about HRT especially the drastic transformation that the body will go through. The discussion centered around mood swings, dosage and the social perception of these changes. The topic was too complex to result in any conclusion. Nevertheless it was still stimulating to talk about something so touchy. We did touch a bit on our belated sister Mel. We hope that we can do something in her memory with the proceeds from the calendar.
Rose showed us her Facebook and some of her voluptious...er...beautiful girlfriends. Dessert was well served. During the BBQ, Ada and Des related a haunted tale of the chalet that we rented. Bobby said that it was probably a horny ghost looking for worn panties. :-O.
We are very happy to receive overwhelming support from our Andrew, Shaun, Rebec, Mr.Tan, Alice, Samantha, our dear founders of SGButterfly, Rose's friends and some whom I have inadvertently forgotten. :-P

SGGURLS 3rd Moderator's Meeting

SGGURLS 3rd Moderator's Meeting

Singapore, 12th October 2008

The SGGURLS moderators convened at DYMK bar at about 9pm+++. Some of the gurls were already there since 6pm as they attended Leona Lo's talk. Before the Moderator's meeting started a variety of topics were discussed. The most memorable were highlights from Leona Lo's inspirational talk about the challenges that a trans-gurl will face. Destynee said that the best part of the talk she liked was that a tgurl needs to be self-reliant and not hope for the knight in shining armor. There's no such person. Trish agreed and said that building up a means to achieve financial independence was a key to a successful pre and post transition.

The topic of purging came up during the discussion. A spot survey from the moderators showed that almost all the Mods (short for Moderators of SGGURLS) who were present that night had purged their fem personalities at least twice only to be defeated by a stronger resurgence from their fem side. Nic said that "we're born with a curse never to escape the need to be a woman." Trish however disagreed and said that it was not a 'curse' but a blessing. Trish summed it up best by saying that Trans people (MtF, FtM) are the only people with a unique understanding of what it means to be a man and a woman. All the Mods agreed that it's quite difficult if not impossible to escape from wanting to be that elusive girl / woman. This need is like the programming in salmons that compel them to swim upstream.

The Mods also discussed about how a pressing issue of harrassments of members and Mods in the SGGURLS forum. The Mods discussed the term 'harrassment'. Harrassment means to incessantly contact the gurls without any regard if the communication was not welcomed. We discussed about some specific cases that happened for the last two weeks. It was agreed that if the harrassers persist, then the Mods will take appropriate actions. The approach is to reason with them first. The banning of harrassers will be a last resort.

When Kaila & Joy finally arrived (10:30pm ), Trish called the meeting in order. The Mods meeting was chaired by Destynee and Kaila. Destynee briefed us the status of the arrangements. Kaila went through the agenda. Destynee gathered our decisions for the halal menu which made many of us hungry. If the menu sounds as good as the actual food, most of us can't wait to get their hand on the food. Nic and Destynee worked out the finance for the SGGURLS nite. We discovered that we were short of about S$200. The Mods brainstormed on how to cover the shoftfall. Smart Joy suggested that each of the Mods contributed an additional sum. The sum to be worked out. Ivy suggested that we also ask if some of the bars, etc. wanted to sponsor our SGGURLS nite. There were some items that still needed to be worked out particularly drivers and the drinks portion. Destynee suggested that the Mods bring 1-2 bottles of their favorite drinks. Nic suggested that maybe make it optional (but much appreciated) if participants would also bring a bottle of their favorite wine or liquoer.

The Mods also got to meet up with Angeline who posted her photos on the board recently. Kaila exchanges some tips for her on how to overcome her shyness. Most of us already think that Angeline is brave for joining the Mods meeting. After the meeting, the gurls adjourned to smoking heaven ("Cow&Coolies"). For non-smokers the place was smoking hell. But our friends in Cows&Coolies already very familiar with our group were fun. Their friendliness and craziness made up for the blured vision from the heavy smoke.

Special thanks to Rayne who was our official ("arrowed') photographer for the night.

Saturday Night lounge lizards

Saturday Night lounge lizards
19-20 May 2008, Toca Me Bar, Singapore
It was a last minute thing but it was an excellent way to spend the Saturday. I got a call from my gurlfriend Kaila who said that she wanted to hangout out in a cool bar that was not crowded. After some discussion we narrowed down the list to two bars: the OSO bar and TOCA ME. Maybe we ccould hit both bars in the same night? Kaila picked me up from my place and TOCA ME was our first stop.

We liked the place so much that we didn't leave until they literally told us it was closing time. The Karaoke system was pretty cool. We belted out quite a few songs. I never knew that Kaila was such a fantastic singer.
Besides being drag queens, we ended up being mic-hogging queens as well.
We were later joined by our beautiful and vivacious sista, Trisha. Looking at her shored up my courage to continue my journey in my evolution. She's gave me quite a lot of advise on HRT, the do's and don'ts which were all earned from a lifetime of experience. I was really pumped with someone as beautiful and experience as her to talk about my fears and aspirations of going fulltime.

A new foreign friend came by to join us for a drink. He was very very cute and I think Trisha liked him a lot. But he was soooo young. I felt like a cradle robber. So did anything happen? Har har har har har ....so nosy.

AIRCREW night party

AIRCREW night party
Singapore4th April 2008The SGGURLS sure know how to throw a fabulous Aircrew night party. Backstage bar was really packed with many of the regulars whom we have befriended anticipating to see the gurls decked out their stewardess uniforms. There were quite a few people who got fooled and thought that some of the stewardess stopped over for drink straight from their flight stop. The gurls did not disappoint. They look so sexy and fabulous in their airline dresses.
We got a special treat from Destynee, Lola, and Clements with their lovely rendition of the Spice girls. I think our Singaporean version of SPICIER GURLS are more scrumptious and stunningly snazzy.
What is a party without a little spanking and whipping? We were lucky to be graced by the voluptuous and vivacious Mistress G from our BDSM society (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/bdsmASIAnetwork). What is a party without a little kinkiness to spice up the night. Put togehter a Mistress and a slave, we got a sizzling recipe for a hot tropical fun night. We got our favorite models to demonstrate a little SM art. I am sure adaline will not be sitting comfortably for the next few days.
The party was suppose to celebrate one of the gurls birthday Yvonne. Unfortunately we could not get her to come due to some last minute things that Yvonne had to deal with so we wish her HAPPY BIRTHDAY.

2 birthdays and a caning

2 birthdays and a caning
Singapore, 15-16 March 2008
Please pinch me, I must be in SM and tgurl heaven!! We may have found a little piece of SM and tgurl heaven on earth and its tucked away in a little bar called Backstage in China town. We got to to finally meet the lovely Miss Kae and slave keith from Jakarta after more than two years of correspondences. They were tired from shopping and spanking the number of misbehaving slaves that were lining up at their doorsteps. Earlier in the afternoon a couple of slaves got their buns marked. The latest lucky slave to receive the therapeutic rattan cane that evening was slave ada. When I showed up at Backstage the first thing slave ada said to me was: "Ouch ouch... the the caning vely painful ahhh...I lost count after the 3 strokes. I suppose to get 10 but i didn't last pass 5." I could not stop laughing to hear this Ah Lian sobbing and rubbing her little tushy.
We had such wonderful time with our close friends Scarf Bondage Master Hendrik & his lovely Mistress partner, Master Ramseus, Mistress MK & slave, the beautiful slave winnie {sir Alex's property}, slave dickson and the Sggurls with a pleasant star surprise Ms Destinee. (Many of them not in our pictures. They're picture shy). It didn't take too long for the party to warm up. The bar was jam-pack last night but our dearest Backstage Bar friends reserved our usual corner for us.
The two birthday gurls Kaila and Ivy Jr had their 'surprise' birthday bash at Backstage bar. Thanks to Ada who organized the cakes for both the gurls. Kaila had the delicious and very colorful mango fruit cake. The colors and softness of the cake reflected her inner beauty within, her genuine warmth and soft heartedness.
Ivy is young, sweet and very beautiful so we gave her the black forest chocolate cake.
Since she was sooo late we tied her her up as well.

While we were punishing Ivy, we decided to punish both birthday gurls.
We had a lovely surprise from the very talented and gorgeous Miss Detinee who gave a superb performance for both birthday gurls. All of us were so delighted by the performance. Ramseus also gave us a booty shaking performance (...no picture taken at his request).
The SM society and SGGURLS sure know how to party on a Saturday.

Celebrating the big FIVEZERO with a dear friend....

Celebrating the big FIVEZERO with a dear friend....
SINGAPORE, Thursday, 24th January 2008
2008 is turning to be an interesting year. The SGGURLS group is getting closer than ever attracting the hidden and often misunderstood community in Singapore. One of its founding members Adaline (or just Ada for short) celebrated her 50th birthday at "MOX" (http://www.mox.com.sg/) and her all-time favorite bar "Backstage" (http://www.lifestylewiki.com/Backstage_Bar). In attendance were: the birthday gurl Adaline, Joy, Ivy Jr, Cathy from KL, Joy, Tiffanie, Kaila, Hendrika (our co-conspirator), Rayne (our official camera woman) and Sham.
Adaline came to the party fooled by Catherine that there was going to be a BDSM party. Our lil kinky girl was very 'on' the ball for this kind of things and she came expecting to be tied, spanked, gagged, etc. When she was there she was scratching her head and kept asking, 'where the heck are the ropes?', 'Where the regular BDSM members?'. She was totally not expecting a birthday bash between her closest friends. Rayne, Hendrika and Kaila were lighting the cake in the background whilst Ada looked so disappointed that there no kinksters in sight. When the cake came, Ada was stunned and delighted at her birthday suprise...
At Backstage, our dear dear friend and host Terrence treated us with some very heavy dosage of alcohol. After a few 'yam seng' ...
....the gurls were doing some very interesting (definitely sexy) XXXXX things which I can't quite mention here to keep my PG13 rating.
Catherine rushed back to KL, the gurls continued to party on till almost 4am. Let's hope the MD are generous on MC for the gurls...yikes..

Bar hopping on a Wednesday Night

Who says weekdays have to be boring? Partying till 5 am in the morning and not sleeping the next day with the party posse is just too tempting to give up.

The party posse:

Life is too short. Play or be played.
