The moderators usually meet on the weekends and sometimes just go out shopping on the weekdays. The gurls are trully good friends inside and outside of the meets. This is the real calling of SGGURLS to help people network without prejudice. There is no pressure to dress, look good, to pass. It's easy to be an SGGURLS (our version of the Singapore Gurl). Loose your ego, your inhibition, our fear and just be yourself.
SGGURLS has seen 8 eights of activities, four generations of gurls. Some are still with us and some can't for personal reasons. We don't replace any group or are we really a group. SGGURLS is a philosophy for this time and this place.

SGGURLS cuts across racial, ethnic, language and economic bariers. As the gurls get to know each other, we've found an enormous amount of talent. SGGURLS is a mirror of the Singapore Rojak. The baby of our group, Des, has an incredible eye and touch of a great makeup artist. She's still a struggling makeup artist but given enough opportunites, you may find her one day doing the makeup of runway models in NY.
